Carlos is a Sport Psychology Expert (OPP) which currently works as Head of Psychology at Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar in Spain, where he coordinates both the sport psychology team and the boarding team.

Before, he was Sub-coordinator of the Psychology Department for Youth Football at Sport Lisboa e Benfica. The same club where he had also started his career years before doing an internship of sport psychology with U17 Handball Team.

He has gained solid experience in sport psychology and experiential training, while accumulating jobs as TeamLeader at High Play Institute, Coordinator at Associação High Play and private practice as a sport psychologist. This experience allowed him to acquire solid know-how in consulting and assessment projects as well as behavioral training, which later on revealed itself to be very useful when integrating sport institutions.

In addition, Carlos had the chance to work as a psychotherapist, having completed 2 years of training SLEPG's (now APG) course of Gestalt Psychotherapy. He also worked as a Hospital Psychologist in Rio de Janeiro, while studying Health Psychology at PUC-Rio. He has a Master's degree in Psychology (ISPA) and he has been working as a psychologist since 2006.

From his professional early days to the present day, Carlos had the opportunity to work in different contexts and areas of intervention of psychology, being Sports the constant that reaffirms his passion.
